PFBB Warpriest

March 23, 2015

Warpriest - OlochSo, here’s the final Pathfinder Beginner Box hybrid class conversion from the ACG:

If you notice any errors or omissions, please let me know and I’ll correct it ASAP.

Now that I’m done with these conversions, the next step is to consolidate them into a single document.  After that, review the original consolidated class conversion document to check for errors and consistency.  No idea when that will be done, but I will get to it in time.

PFBB Slayer

Slayer - Zadim

So, again, I’ve been absent for a while (over a month – time flies!).  But I’ve managed to knock out the next PF Beginner Box conversion:

As always, please let me know if you have any questions or notice any errors.  Cheers!

PFBB Bloodrager Class Conversion

November 29, 2014

Bloodrager - CroweWell, I’ve had a little more free time on my hands this week, so I’ve been able to knock out two conversions in relatively short order.  Here is the Bloodrager hybrid class conversion for Pathfinder Beginner Box.

I’ve added two new spells: Color Spray and Long Arms.  While these are presented in the Bloodrager spell list, they technically can be cast by any arcane spellcaster, as far as I know.  There are also two new feats: Extra Bloodrage, exclusive to the Bloodrager class, and Expanded Arcana, which may be taken by any ‘spontaneous’ spellcaster.

As usual, please let me know if you have any questions or notice any errors or omissions.  Enjoy!

PFBB Class Conversion Correction

May 13, 2012

The PFBB Class Conversion has been up for nearly a month and in all that time I never noticed that the Ninja class never made it into the document (hat tip to Red Silvers for pointing it out).  Needless to say, I’m very embarrassed for such a simple mistake, and I apologize for the oversight.

Here are corrected versions:

Hopefully I caught all the errors, but if you notice anything please let me know and I’ll correct it ASAP.  Many thanks!

Revised Consolidated Class Conversions for the Beginner Box

April 15, 2012

Well, with inspiration and help from my readers I got my act together and corrected (I think/hope) all the legal stuff that had to be corrected on the PFBB Consolidated Class Conversion PDF.  I’m 99% confident I got it right this time, but if anyone notices something wrong in the OGL, I’d appreciate it if you could let me know.

Next up is the consolidated feats PDF and then a consolidated PFBB beastiary PDF.  I won’t be doing this for each and every PDF as I had before, as that would simply be too much work and there are other things I’d like to do with my time. 😉

Thanks again for your help, and with no further ado….

PFBB Consolidated Class Conversions

March 25, 2012

All the class conversions I’ve done for the Pathfinder Beginner Box have been consolidated into a sinlge document.  I’ve done my best to clean them up a bit, making sure everything uses the same font and formatting.  Also, I’ve done my best to fix all the references to swift actions to free actions.

I did make a few changes:

  • On the Cavalier, I noted that they incur no combat penalties in melee combat while astride their horse (they still suffer normal penalties in ranged combat from horseback)
  • On the Paladin I added their Aura of Good class ability.  Originally I didn’t think it was important for the BB, but upon seeing DWishR’s Paladin pregen sheet, I decided it wouldn’t hurt to add it in, just in case.
  • On the Ranger, I changed Two-weapon Fighting Style to note that it is a standard + move action to attack with two melee weapons.

As of yet this document does not include the 5 classes Paizo did, but I’ll add those eventually.

Let me know if you have any questions or notice a typo or mistake I missed.  Many thanks.

PFBB Class Conversions – Major Correction

February 4, 2012

So, I thought that the Beginner Box had done away with Free actions and kept Swift actions.  Turns out I got that backwards:  it keeps Free actions and does away with Swift actions.  Oops.

There are a number of class conversions that have abilities that require a swift action to activate or use.  Where you see ‘swift action’ you should read ‘free action’ instead.  This will be corrected for all applicable classes when I put out the consolidated version.

And please let me know if anyone notices any other mistakes, big or small.  Many thanks, and game on.
